Firstly, a huge thank you for your support towards our Magic Table.
We are absolutely thrilled to have received £1,000 from the Cantiacorum Foundation which has gone towards the purchase of an omiVista+ Mobii Interactive Table Projection System (Magic Table) for our centre in Wood Street, Tunbridge Wells.
The Magic Table provides hours of stimulation and fun and we are delighted to see our
Dementia clients, their families, our day clients and the team enjoying using the Table.
The way the Table interacts is fantastic offering so many activities and engaging our clients to socialise and move. The table creates a fun environment too with laughter and conversation. We can set up a table for small groups of 4 or fewer or on the floor with as many as 12 joining in.
The added bonus is that the Magic Table is mobile and we can take it to our memory cafes and to people less able to move about which is fantastic.
We have only had the Magic Table for a couple of weeks but are thrilled with the response to date.
