Blind Veterans UK helps vision-impaired ex-Servicemen and women to rebuild their lives after sight loss.  They provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support to veterans regardless of how or when they lost their sight.

Cantiacorum Foundation made a donation which enabled £10,000 to be spent on 77 individual pieces of equipment to increase independence.  Items funded include electronic scanners, smartphones and tablets enabled with software which enables people with a visual impairment to use an android phone,  computer-screen reading software , talking clocks and watches, kitchen equipment,  white mobility canes and UV glasses.
