We are pleased to be able to support the work of 3H Fund Helping Hands for Holidays which helps people with disabilities and their carers to have a period of respite.
Below are a selection of the comments made by some of the holiday grant recipients:
As a result of the holiday " everyone felt fresh and feeling calm and ready for the challenges that lay ahead";
"We all came back fully relaxed and we made plans while we were away as a family to re-group and unite as a family; we had been on the brink of collapsing. Now we are home we are pulling together more as a family."
"We were able to spend time together and forget our financial problems and hospital visits and treatments."
"I feel refreshed and hopeful and glad to be alive....I have spent many months trapped on the sofa unable to move - your holiday was like coming alive again."
